Attorney Profile

Experienced Intellectual Property Attorney

Registered Patent Attorney - Attorney Timothy F. Mills is a Registered Patent Attorney certified to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office - Registration No. 34,879. He is a Board Certified Toxicological Chemist, certified by the National Registry for Clinical Chemistry. He is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts of three states and before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Washington, D.C. To serve his international clients, Attorney Mills partners with Intellectual Property Attorneys in foreign countries.

University and Legal Education - Attorney Mills earned an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree and was a member of the Beta Beta Beta Biology Honorary Society. He completed a Master of Science degree graduating magna cum laude. He continued his post-graduate education in law earning a Juris Doctor in the Intellectual Property Law Program at the Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord, New Hampshire. While a student at law, he was an assistant editor of the Law Journal, IDEA, and an intern for the Hon. Shane Devine, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire. He was employed as an Assistant Attorney for the State of New Hampshire as a litigator, and as an Associate Attorney for the Intellectual Property Law Firm of Bronstein, Cushman & P fund in Boston, Massachusetts, where he served the Intellectual Property needs of the foremost academic and research institutions of the country.

Work Education - While practicing law early in his career, Attorney Mills also owned and operated several retail businesses. He values the hands on work experience that allowed him to apply academic principles in the real world. He believes that you have not ‘graduated’ until you have successfully applied your education to the problems encountered in business. Now he applies the combination of his university education and his practical, hands-on 'work education' to counsel his clients in the many varied issues he encounters. Recognized for his broad range of skills and experience, honesty and integrity, he has been recruited to serve as a director or trustee on the boards of several charitable foundations and non-profit entities.
