F. Mills is a Registered Patent Attorney certified to
practice before the United States Patent and Trademark
Office - Registration No. 34,879. He is a Board
Certified Toxicological Chemist, certified by the
National Registry for Clinical Chemistry. He is admitted
to practice law in the state and federal courts of three
states and before the Court of Appeals for the Federal
Circuit in Washington, D.C. To serve his international
clients, Attorney Mills partners with Intellectual
Property Attorneys in foreign countries.
University and Legal Education - Attorney Mills
earned an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree and was
a member of the Beta Beta Beta Biology Honorary Society.
He completed a Master of Science degree graduating magna
cum laude. He continued his post-graduate education in
law earning a Juris Doctor in the Intellectual Property
Law Program at the Franklin Pierce Law Center in
Concord, New Hampshire. While a student at law, he was
an assistant editor of the Law Journal, IDEA, and an
intern for the Hon. Shane Devine, Chief Judge of the
U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire.
He was employed as an Assistant Attorney for the State
of New Hampshire as a litigator, and as an Associate
Attorney for the Intellectual Property Law Firm of
Bronstein, Cushman & P fund in Boston, Massachusetts,
where he served the Intellectual Property needs of the
foremost academic and research institutions of the
country.
Work Education - While practicing law early in his
career, Attorney Mills also owned and operated several
retail businesses. He values the hands on work
experience that allowed him to apply academic principles
in the real world. He believes that you have not
‘graduated’ until you have successfully applied your
education to the problems encountered in business. Now
he applies the combination of his university education
and his practical, hands-on 'work education' to counsel
his clients in the many varied issues he encounters.
Recognized for his broad range of skills and experience,
honesty and integrity, he has been recruited to serve as
a director or trustee on the boards of several
charitable foundations and non-profit entities.
